Welcome, CCE Fifth Grade Families!
My name is Sharon Suh and I am so excited to join Cedar Creek Elementary this year! I grew up in New York City and moved to Austin in 1994. I graduated from UT-Austin with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in Special Education. I moved back to NYC ten years ago and attended Teachers College at Columbia University for graduate school. I received my Master's Degree in Educational Psychology: Reading Specialist program.
This will be my 21st year of teaching. I have taught in Austin ISD and Leander ISD prior to joining Eanes ISD. I was a Kinder-5th grade Special Education teacher for ten years, third grade teacher for one year and 5th grade teacher for nine years. Of all the grades I have taught, fifth grade is definitely my favorite! I taught at Steiner Ranch Elementary for the past five years before I made the decision to move to Eanes ISD this year.
I can't wait to get to know all of my students and families! We will have a great year filled with so many new things to learn!
Sincerely,
Sharon Suh
